We had nothing scheduled today and stayed at the lodge all day to get some work done. We did wander down to the beach on the back side of the resort. It is on the Caribbean Sea. No swimming is allowed here as the currents are too strong and dangerous. But it is rugged and pretty here.
We also wandered a bit around the grounds.
They have some nice wood carvings.
And a tree with lots of Oropendola (a member of the oriole family).
And a very tiny lizard joined us on the deck.
It got really hot in the room in the afternoon so we went down to the bar area to do some work. Much cooler there.
This dessert is
a chocolate and fruit tasting plate…pineapple, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake
and chocolate wafers. Very good. And the pineapple even worked with the
chocolate.
