March 11 – Another day at the pool

Dan is not feeling well…congestion, cold, but no fever, so he stayed in their room all day.  The rest of us hung out all day at the pool while Paul spent most of the day working on taxes.  Not fun.

He did get a visit by an iguana who took a stroll across our deck.

On one of our rides to the pool the van driver stopped to point out an owl in a tree beside the road.

One fun event was watching people trying to balance on a surfboard that was floated to a rope stretching across the pool.  The object was to jump over the rope and stay upright on the surfboard.  There was a lot of hilarity as most people slipped off the board.  But a few people managed to stay upright.  Very impressive.

This evening we (Paul and Mary) had dinner reservations in the gardens by the sea for a romantic dinner for just the two of us.  John and Connie were at a nearby table.  Lovey setting and nice food.
