Every morning when we go to breakfast it seems that there is an iguana hanging out in the driveway.
It was a lazy morning at the pool and lunch before heading off early afternoon for our next excursion. After lunch we all headed up to reception and got some group photos taken while we waited for the tour bus to come.
The tour bus picked us up for drive back to Coco beach where we did a very slight wade to a boat that shuttled us to a catamaran in the bay.
The boat is decent size and we have almost 40 passengers on board. The boat headed off north up the coast for about an hour before anchoring off a small beach.
Dale, Paul and Mary did some snorkeling. Unfortunately, the water, while a lovely temperature, was pretty murky so it was hard to see. And the reef was really mostly rocks. There were a lot of sea urchins and a few small fish but the all in all the snorkeling was very uninspiring.
Back on board we had a late, light lunch, lazed around and then eventually headed back to port. We had good views of the coastline.
As this was billed as a sunset cruise the boat took it’s time getting back, waiting for the sun to set. While not spectacular the cruise and the day were very enjoyable.
We were back to the hotel in time for dinner but we were both full so decided to pass.
